What is Meditation?
Meditation is not about emptying the mind.
It is about learning how to stay with yourself more gently.
Thoughts may continue to appear. Feelings may shift. Sounds and sensations may come and go. None of this means that you are doing it incorrectly.
Meditation can be as simple as noticing one breath, the weight of your body, or the sounds around you. When your attention wanders, you do not need to force it back. You can simply notice where it went and begin again.
There is no perfect state to reach and no special experience you need to create. The practice is in returning—quietly, patiently, and without judgment.
Some days may feel calm. Other days may feel restless or unclear. Both belong.
For this moment, you do not need to change anything.
You only need to arrive.
